The Anchorage Museum offers Sensory-Friendly and Access Mornings which include self-directed, drop-in sessions designed for families and adults with a range of developmental and physical disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum. During these special hours, the museum is closed to the general public, creating a calmer, more accessible environment for exploration and play.
These sessions are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the museum at your own pace. A quiet, safe space is also available for anyone who may need a sensory break. Please note: all visitors under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
