Jams For Fams Community Activity

Spring is finally starting to peek through here in Anchorage, and with it comes some fun family events around town! One event we’re excited about is Bear’s Tooth Jams for Fams: Spring Bunny Hop, happening Sunday, March 29, at 1:00 PM. This lively event is recommended for kids 10 and under and is a great chance for families to get out, move, and celebrate the season together.

We love community events like this because they give children opportunities to engage in play, movement, music, and social participation. Events like the Bunny Hop can support motor skills, sensory exploration, and confidence while kids dance, hop, and interact with others.

If you attend the Bunny Hop, consider bringing along a few simple supports if your child benefits from them, such as noise-reducing headphones, a favorite comfort item, or a plan for sensory/regulation breaks. Small strategies can help make big community events feel more manageable and enjoyable.
